Your UNCHARTED host: Matthew Heterick

Heto & Seva, The Rails Run, The Round Ball, The Backstage Pass, UNCHARTED | 2 August 2021

Forming half of the founding partnership behind the UNCHARTED brand, Matthew “Heto” Heterick has grown up around sport his entire life, and only just had to give away playing football a few years to a bad knee injury.

After giving up playing football, Heto is now Head Coach at Eastern Creek Soccer Club in the Blacktown District Soccer Football Association Premier League competition.

Heto has a great passion for football and is currently completing his coaching badges. He will join Daniel “Seva” Severino on The Round Ball, where they will talk all things football.

Since hanging up his football boots, Heto has completed two ultra marathons, completing the 50km Ultra-Trail Australia through the heritage-listed Blue Mountains twice. For anyone that knows the terrain of the Blue Mountains, it’s an extremely tough event, starting and finishing at the iconic Scenic World in Katoomba. Heto completed both races in 10 hours.

Heto will also co-host The Backstage Pass podcast with Scott Young, where they will talk everything music, and The Rails Run podcast alongside Seva and current professional jockey Shaun Guymer.
