An adsl internet connection requires an adsl compatible modem.
If you want to use a modem/router that was supplied by another provider or ISP then this may work with our service, provided it is not locked to the provider it was purchased from.
The only way to determine if it is locked is to try and configure it with our service. If the modem is locked, you will need to use an alternative modem.
We can never guarantee a modem/router provided by another ISP will work with MATE.
MATE is no longer providing new ADSL internet plans. nbn has been rolling out a national broadband infrastructure project to all Australians that is replacing the older ADSL network.
