moving home with nbn HFC?

If you plan to move home and are currently connected to nbn via Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC), it’s worth preparing before you relocate.

This will help minimise disruption to your internet service.

You must make sure that you leave any nbn supplied equipment at the address you are moving out of.

Your supplied nbn HFC equipment includes:

  • The nbn connection box (pictured below)
  • The white coaxial connection cable
  • The black power adaptor

It is essential to understand that any nbn supplied equipment needs to stay at your current address – please do not take it with you.

The nbn HFC equipment is registered to the specific address. Therefore it will not work or be compatible with your new premises.
