how do I change my nbn internet plan?

Great news – you can change your nbn plan through our self-care portal or myMATE app! Here’s everything you need to know.

Important stuff to know first:

  • Any plan changes will show up as pro-rata charges/credits on your next bill – you’ll find the breakdown of these charges/credits on the second page.
  • Your new plan speed will kick in within a few hours of making the change.

Want to change your plan on your phone?

The myMATE app is your best bet! Here’s how:

  • Select your nbn service

  • Tap the icon in the top right
  • Choose ‘change plan’ and follow the prompts

  • Select your service (click the circle on the left)
  • Choose your new plan from the dropdown menu
