can I add a home phone service to my nbn plan?

Yes! For $9 per month (on top of your nbn plan fee), you can add a home phone (VoIP) service to your MATE nbn connection.

You can keep your current number (as long as it’s active with another provider) or we can give you a new one.

What’s included?

• Unlimited local, national, and mobile calls within Australia.
• Simple setup with most VoIP-compatible modems or ATA devices.

Already have a MATE VoIP service?

If you’ve already added a VoIP service, we’ve emailed you the details, including:

• Your MATE phone number
• Your SIP password
• Configuration details (see below)

You’ll need to manually set up your VoIP-compatible device or BYO modem with these settings:

SIP Proxy/Registrar Address/Outbound Proxy:
voice.mibroadband.com.au

SIP Port / Proxy Port / Registrar Port:
5060

These settings work with most VoIP devices. Keep in mind that we don’t provide technical support for setting up BYO VoIP hardware.
