how does your ‘refer a friend’ program work?

To refer a friend you just need to advise the person signing up to do the following:

1. 1. If they are signing up with a MATE sales agent over the phone, tell the agent your existing account name and MATE code/account number as a referral;
   2. If they are signing up online, complete the “how did you hear about us” section with your existing account name and MATE code/account number as a referral.

For both online and phone sales, the customer referral details must be left at the time of the order – these can not be added at a later date once the order has been submitted.

• Referral for internet services – once the internet service is activated on the network, you will automatically be provided with a once-off $50.00 credit on your next issued invoice. Credit can only be applied once per MATE account referred.
• Referral for mobile services – once the mobile service activated on the network, you will automatically be provided with a once-off $25.00 credit on your next issued invoice. Credit can only be applied once per MATE account referred.

Referral credits are not eligible for use in conjunction with any other discount promotions. In the event that the referred party applies a discount promotional code at the time of sign-up, the referral credit will be deemed invalid for that transaction. The referring party will not receive a referral credit if such a promotion is utilised. If the referrer’s account is closed they will not be eligible for a ‘referral credit’. Credits are non-transferrable.
