what’s the difference between nbn 100/20 and nbn 100/40?

Our No Worries nbn 100/20 and You Beaut 100/40 plans both offer a typical busy period (7pm-11pm) download speed of up to 97Mbps.

However, the No Worries nbn 100/20 plan provides a maximum theoretical upload speed of 20Mbps, while the You Beaut 100/40 plan provides a maximum theoretical upload speed of 40Mbps.

Downloading is the process of accessing web pages, images and files on the internet, while uploading is making these web pages, images and files available on the internet.

Watching a movie on Netflix or Stan, streaming Kayo Sports or reading your favourite news sites would primarily utilise download.

Sending large emails, playing tournament-style online games and using video calling via apps like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet would primarily utilise upload.
