What are the benefits of IPoE over PPPoE?
IPoE (Internet Protocol over Ethernet) and PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) are both primary methods used by internet service providers like MATE to connect your modem/router to our network.
IPoE (MATE Connect) is faster to connect on startup and does not require any login details to be entered into your modem/router.
Will my existing modem/router work with MATE Connect?
You may need to check if your existing or old modem/router supports IPoE but most modern modem/routers should be compatible.
